Balpex Inc. wants to gift two deserving students with demonstrated leadership skills a $4,000 Scholarship for their 2024-2025 school year!
The Balpex scholarship fund was established by the Balpex Board of Directors to honour the leadership and entrepreneurial spirit of our Balpex Members.
Balpex was established in 1973 as a not-for-profit collective buying group for independent Canadian distributors. Baplex is firmly grounded in their principles of commitment, credibility, and creativity.
Acceptance Criteria
- Submit your Balpex 2025-2026 Scholarship Application form by May 29, 2025.
- Be enrolled in a recognized Canadian University, College, or Trade School, and/or a Post-Secondary Institution.
- Complete the application requirements below.
- Be an employee or related to an employee at a Balpex Member Company.
- Not be related to an owner of a Balpex Member company.
- Not a previous recipient of the Balpex Scholarship.
Application Checklist
- Complete the personal information questions included on the registration form.
- Proof of acceptance from your Post Secondary Institution.
- Your most recent academic transcript (NO MINIMUM GPA to apply).
- A brief reference letter from a supervisor, coach or mentor who can speak to your leadership skills within an organization you’ve worked for or volunteered with.
- A brief reference letter from a current or past teacher who is familiar with your academic achievements and/or dedication to learning.
- MAXIMUM 500-word essay summarizing:
- How you’ve been involved in your community
- How you want to use your education to be a leader and/or entrepreneur
- Other personal accomplishments
- IMPORTANT: AI generated essays will be disqualified
The chosen applicants will be notified by August 28, 2025.
The Balpex Scholarship Award will be sent directly to the recipient’s chosen college/university.
